About this treatment

Our signature facial is a full skincare routine adapted to what your skin needs on the day. If you are new to Azizam, this is the treatment we recommend first. It gives the facialist a complete read on how your skin responds to cleansing, exfoliation, hydration and massage, and it shapes every subsequent visit around what we have learned about you.

The appointment runs 75 minutes. We start with a brief consultation where we ask about any recent skincare changes, sensitivities, travel, and how your skin has been behaving over the last few weeks. No detail is too small. Late nights, a change in water, a new serum, a course of antibiotics. All of it affects the skin, and all of it shapes what we do in the room.

The treatment itself is carefully structured. A double cleanse to clear away makeup, SPF and the residue of the day. A gentle exfoliation chosen for your skin type. A careful examination of the skin under a magnifying lamp to assess congestion, hydration and texture. Extractions, but only where they will help and only if your skin can tolerate them. A mask selected from our range based on what the facialist has seen. A closing lymphatic massage that drains the face gently and helps the products settle into the skin rather than sitting on the surface.

The massage is not an add-on. It is one of the most important parts of the treatment. Properly done, facial massage improves circulation, reduces puffiness around the eyes and jawline, and gives the skin a visible lift that lasts for several days. Our facialists take their time with it. Rushed facial massage is something we see in other salons and will not deliver ourselves.

Results are immediate and cumulative. Immediately after the appointment, your skin looks fresher, calmer and more hydrated. Over the following week, congestion continues to clear, tone evens out, and the lift from the massage gradually softens. For best results, a signature facial every four to six weeks keeps the skin in consistently good condition.

This is the facial we recommend most broadly. It suits normal, combination, dry, dehydrated, and most sensitive skin types. For specific concerns such as heavy pigmentation, persistent breakouts, or early lines, we may suggest one of our more targeted facials after the signature has established a baseline for us. Until then, the signature is almost always the right place to start.

Dubai's climate puts particular pressure on skin. Air conditioning is drying. Sun exposure is stronger than most visitors realise. Humidity changes how the skin behaves week by week. The signature facial accounts for all of this, and your facialist will adjust the products and the technique based on the season as well as your personal skin.

Aftercare is simple. Avoid actives, retinoids, and acids for 48 hours. Use gentle skincare. Wear SPF. Drink water. Most clients feel their skin continuing to improve for three or four days after the appointment.
