Mega volume is the fullest and most dramatic set on our menu, and the one we apply the most carefully. Each fan is built from ten to sixteen ultra-fine lashes, sometimes more, and the overall density reads dark and rich along the lash line. The extensions themselves are so fine that even a large fan can sit on a natural lash without straining it, but the technique is unforgiving. Mega volume that has been applied well looks striking. Mega volume that has been applied badly looks heavy and tired, and damages the natural lashes over time.

For that reason, we only apply mega volume to clients whose natural lashes can support it. During the consultation, your technician will assess the density and strength of your natural lashes. If the set is not appropriate, we will say so and recommend Russian volume or a dense hybrid as a better alternative. This is the most important conversation of the appointment, and we would rather lose the booking than deliver a mega set that will damage your lashes.

A mega application takes between two and a half and three and a half hours. The fans are intricate, the spacing is exacting, and the work cannot be rushed. During the appointment you lie back, close your eyes, and let the technician work. Most clients rest or fall asleep. Music plays quietly unless you prefer silence.

The look suits women who want their lashes to be a defining feature, particularly for events, photo shoots, or a period of their life where a strong lash line fits how they want to present themselves. It is less of a daily-for-everyone choice than classic or hybrid, and more a considered signature. You can live in mega volume long term if your natural lashes are strong, or you can book it for a season and then step back to a lighter set.

Aftercare is more important with mega than with lighter sets because the fans are denser. Brush twice daily to keep the fans sitting correctly. Avoid any product with oil near the lash line. Be gentle when cleansing, and ideally rinse with clean water at the end of the day. If you sleep on your side, a silk pillowcase helps preserve the shape. Refills every two weeks are essential.

Dubai climate, particularly in summer, can be tough on dense extension sets. Humidity changes how adhesive cures, and sweat around the lash line can loosen fan bases if it is not managed. We adapt aftercare advice to the season, and we keep notes on how your set wears so future appointments are informed by what worked and what did not.

Mega volume is a senior-technician-only service at Azizam. Only artists with a significant body of mega work behind them are cleared to apply the set. We will tell you honestly whether mega is achievable for you, or whether a denser Russian volume set would give you the same effect without the weight.
