Volume lashes are built with handmade fans rather than single extensions. Each fan is made in the moment by the technician from two to five ultra-fine lashes, and one fan is placed on each natural lash. The finish is significantly fuller than classic, with a softer, darker lash line that reads like mascara applied beautifully, every day, without the effort.

People often assume volume must feel heavy. Well-made volume feels the opposite. The ultra-fine extensions we use weigh less than a single classic extension, so the fan as a whole is comfortable on your natural lash. Heaviness is almost always the result of using the wrong weight of extension for someone's natural lashes, which is why the consultation matters.

A volume application takes between two and two and a half hours. Lash artists at Azizam are senior by definition, and volume in particular is not work we trust to anyone less. The quality of the fan, the isolation of each natural lash and the consistent spacing across the line are the difference between a set that looks elegant and a set that looks clumpy.

The finish suits women who want their lashes to be a visible part of how they present themselves. Confident without being dramatic. You can still read the shape of your eye, but the lash line carries real presence. It reads well in photographs and particularly well in low light, which is why volume is a popular choice for clients attending weddings, events, or regular nights out across the season.

Between appointments, the set behaves like any other extension style. Keep it dry for the first day, avoid oil-based products, and brush daily. Refills every two to three weeks keep the density consistent. If you go longer than four weeks, expect a fresh set appointment rather than a quick top-up, because the natural shed will have outpaced what a refill can reasonably rebuild.

Volume suits two types of clients particularly well. Women whose natural lashes are already reasonably full and who want to emphasise that with a set that looks polished every day. And women whose lashes are finer but who want a visible effect, in which case our technician will choose lighter, smaller fans so the set suits what your natural lashes can support.

Dubai humidity does affect extension wear, and we adjust adhesive and aftercare accordingly. Clients who swim regularly, spend long days outdoors or travel through multiple climates in a month will get better retention by rinsing lashes gently with clean water at the end of each day. Nothing fussy. A quick rinse and a brush with the spoolie takes under a minute and genuinely extends how the set wears.
