The application follows the same careful process as our other extension services. A full set runs around 90 to 120 minutes. You close your eyes and let the work happen. Many clients fall asleep during it.

01Cleanse
Every trace of oil and makeup comes off the lash line first. Silk fibres only bond properly to a clean lash, and this is where retention is won or lost.

02Prime
Under-eye patches go on to protect the lower lashes, then each lash is primed and combed through so your artist can see exactly what she is working with.

03Apply
One silk fibre onto one natural lash, isolated with tweezers, repeated a few hundred times. Length and curl are mapped to your eye shape rather than a template.

A full set of classic lashes takes around 90 minutes. Volume or Russian volume sets take two hours or more, depending on the style.
What can I still do with silk lash extensions?
Wear makeup, swim, exercise and cleanse as normal. Only oil-based eye makeup remover, which weakens the adhesive, and sleeping face-down, which shortens retention, need adjusting. A gentle extension-safe cleanser is available at reception, with samples if you are new.
Do swimming and humidity affect silk lash retention?
If you swim regularly or spend long stretches in humid heat, expect retention a little shorter.
How long do lash extensions last?
With a proper refill every two to three weeks, extensions can be worn continuously. Between appointments, you can expect a natural shed rate of a few lashes per day.
Can I wear makeup with lash extensions?
Yes. Avoid oil-based products and heavy mascara directly on the extensions. A light touch of liner close to the lash line is fine.
