Russian volume is the most technically demanding lash service on our menu, and the set we recommend for women who wear their lashes as a signature. Each fan is handmade from very fine extensions, usually between five and eight lashes per fan, and the bases are set so they sit weightlessly on the natural lash. The finish is dense, defined, and precise, with a darker lash line and a more editorial shape than classic or standard volume.

The difference between Russian volume and regular volume is in the fan-making. Russian technique uses finer lashes, tighter base points, and a more exacting spread. Built well, the fans lock into a shape that holds beautifully between refills and wears without loosening along the base. Built poorly, they splay and gap. It is precision work, and it takes years to perfect.

A Russian volume application runs between two and three hours. During the consultation, we will look at the shape and health of your natural lashes, your eye shape, and the finish you want. The set is always tailored. Nothing is copy-pasted from someone else's photograph. If your natural lashes cannot comfortably carry dense Russian fans, we will say so and recommend a lighter alternative that will still give you the effect you are after.

The look suits women who think of their lashes as a considered part of their appearance. It sits well for daytime if you prefer a defined lash line, and it photographs particularly well, which makes it a frequent choice for clients who attend events regularly or who simply want their eyes to read strongly in mirrors and in camera.

Aftercare is standard. Keep the lashes dry for 24 hours, avoid oil-based removers, brush daily, and go gentle with eye makeup on the lash line. Refills every two to three weeks are essential to maintain the precision of the set, because Russian volume relies on consistent spacing across the lash line. A set left four weeks or longer will need to be rebuilt rather than topped up.

Clients coming from classic or hybrid often find Russian volume lighter than expected, because the individual lashes in each fan are finer than a classic extension. What you feel is not weight, it is presence. The density shows. The weight does not.

The work is complex and the expectations are high, so the person in the chair with you will always be someone whose portfolio and technique we are confident in.
